Bea's definitely has the best fried chicken! Those who are looking for "fine dining" or "fancy flavor" this is not the spot for you. Bea's serves good 'ol down home cooking at it's finest. The food is delicious and is reminisent of the Sunday dinners at Grandma's house, or the local church's "dinner on the grounds". My only complaint with Bea's is the price. At nearly ten dollars per person, you can't afford to take a family of five unless it is a Chrsitmas present or you hit the lottery! But, overall, we love Bea's. It's just a shame that even the middle class can't afford to eat there...

I googled "best fried chicken in Chattanooga" for a friend of mine and we ended up at Bea's. The atmosphere is so neat and 50's but the food was not impressive. The chicken was definitely not the best, the seasoning was lacking in all the foods and for the price you'd better come hungry. Great butter biscuits though!

I grew up in hixon and my family would eat at bea's once a week. i live in florida now and at least once a year bring my husband and i bring our children to bea's. you will get the best fried chicken ever!!!! the rolls, slaw, bbq, veggies and cobbler are always outstanding. and plenty of sweet tea. one of my very best childhood memories and it is just as good today.
I Like Beas Restaurant. Especially Their World Famous Chicken And The Nice Courteous Employees. Doug and Mike Bradshaw. Christine,April,Jamie,Judy And All The Rest. They Are Wonderful.
We had lunch at this restaurant I believe it was 1957, I thought it was a great restaurant, we just
stumbled in, but could never find it again, i was watching a cooking show a few weeks ago, and there you are. We will visit you again this summer. We live in florida.

A Chattanooga landmark from the 50's... Everyone should experience dining Bea's. A variety of food served family style on a lazy susan in the middle of tables. You probably will get to meet new people as you are seated at a community tables. You won't go away hungry. Fried chicken is speciality. It's good!!
