Jake always wanted a place to go and hangout with friends and family. A place to just sit back and enjoy a cold beer and watch some sports, while eating great appetizers, fresh seafood or even a big ol' steak if he wanted. He just couldn't find it! So, he decided to do it himself and open Jake's Steakhouse in 1994, down in Orange Beach, Alabama. Everything was going along great - until September 2004.
Hurricane Ivan came ashore and blew Jake's away! Even got its "Longhorn". So for about a year, Jake worked hard and made plans to bring back his restaurant - bigger and better! So he re-opened in Spring of 2006 with a ..

Jake never found the Longhorn.. But legend has it, that Jake's longhorn is at the bottom of the lagoon behind the restaurant.

The food was exquisit and very well prepared. However I was ignored at the door while waiting to be seated. Also, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere until you see the manager. Cruela Devil is the only way to describe it.
