a diner from Hewlett, NY
Nice cozy neighberhood restaurant. Went there for the first time. Asked the waiter for a menu twice and all we got was a wine menu which was very reasonabley priced. After a few minutes the waiter came with two plates. One with meat and one with fish. The waiter recited to us the choices of meals beautifully. We assumed that there is no menu but the presentation the waiter gave us. While dining we realized that the regulars asked for a menu and got it. The meal was very good. Upon receiving the bill we got shell shocked. The prices were more than Manhattan prices. A small piece of Branzino flllet $38.00.
We think it was dishonest not giving us the menu and at least tell the customers the price of your specials.
We would have rated the restaurant higher if they were honest with us and priced their specials more reasonable.
The restaurant has potential but we hope the management reads this and price their specials fairly.
