I wish I could give this place no stars. Food was horrible and when I complained about the soggy everything and water on my lo mein I was treated rudely by the owner. I should have known when I walked in the place and he was yelling at employees right in front of customers. There are no windows so I wonder if the place was once a strip club. Its very dimly lit, I guess to cover up the filth. The food was over priced. Please save yourself the headache and avoid this place!!!

House of China is renoun as the best in town and always has. There are at least 10 Asian restaurants in town, and if you took a pole again today around town for who is the best I will guarantee House of China would be above 75% of the votes.

HORRRIBLE EXPERIENCE...Wudnt RECOMMEND EVEN IF THE FOOD COMES FREE..
Stay away from this place....If u still wannu go ..ur at your own risk. I really had a real bad experience where we (Myslef and my girl friend) were literally walked out by the owner for mentioning that his food was extra salty. HE COULD HAVE AS WELL SERVED A BOWL OF SALT INSTEAD OF CALLING IT FRIED RICE...

It started with me bringing to the attention of my waitress about extra salt in my food where she acknowledged that I was not the first person to mention that and they have 2 cooks and that one adds extra salt. She said she is going to talk to the owner and see if he can mark down the price or see if we can get a replacement. The owner - man with no class and epitome of rudeness comes to my table and starts arguing about the way I should order and that the food has always been cooked the same way and challenges my ability to cook and run a business. Added to that he says he really doesn't care about customer service and he says I can walk out of the restaurant. While the waiter who has acknowledged the fact comes out in TEARS as apparently the owner has taken her for a ride for being HONEST. She didn't want us to make a big issue as she felt threatened that she would LOSE HER JOB. that was one of the reasons which stopped us from calling the COPS. That to me was "OUT RIGHT POOOOOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" and "AWFUL TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS AND HONEST EMPLOYEES"....and top of all this there was absolutely no remorse for his behavior and made sure that HE CHARGED US FOR THE BOWL OF SALT...
