Hong Kong Buffet 501 is a fine place to eat lunch. The wait staff is OK but there is one thing that puts me off: many of their waitresses do NOT speak English well. Example: I asked, "Can I get a knife?" and the waitress could not, even with several efforts from me, understand what I wanted. there is a good selection of food and some of it quite tasty. The manager is nice and friendly and even brought me an item outside at my car that I had forgotten. All in all, a good-value place to eat lunch.

The food is good but the service is hit and miss. Unfortunately they miss more than hits. There is just too many other in the Chapel Hill area to come back anytime soon.
