Springfield Restaurant Guide

Excellent food! Salad with great tasting ginger dressing,rice,noodles,choice of several meats (my scallops were PERFECT!)and eye popping entertainment for the kids. Our four year old granddaughter loves it... especially the "egg trick" and the "volcano choo-choo". We left totally stuffed and had left overs for and evening snack. Can't wait to go back!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in all of Springfield and I was born and raised here! This place could not be more perfect, however do not try to come if you are in a hurry. This is a place to come and relax and have a great time. Do not even consider going to any other Japanese Steakhouses. Hinode is cheaper than ALL of them with MUCH larger portions and the food tastes AMAZING. You won't be disappointed!

Anyone who wants a great experience at a fair price should check out Hinode! The food is fabulous, the service can be a bit slow on the busy nights, but so is everywhere else in Springfield. The chefs are very fun and talkative, and cook your meal just as you ask for it. I would recommend this resturant to any one who likes Hibachi and can appreciate a good meal.

Sometimes the service is a little slow, but I LOVE the food at this restaurant. We have eaten there several times and never had bad food. The Vegas Roll is a MUST!!

I have been comeing here from the day the opened. Food is great. Service rock's. And if you are upset that you wife is hot and are so afraid that your wife is going to leave you for a sushi chef then my friend you have more problems the a bad time at a resteraunt.I recomend this place to anyone that is looking for amazing portion sizes and price.

WE LOVE HINODE.. WE GO THERE JUST ABOUT EVERY SUNDAY AND THEY KNOW US BY NAME. THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND YOU GET A LOT OF FOOD. WE ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Food was great, prices ok. The only problem was the Freeking Sushi chef kept hitting on my wife while I was right there!!! Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. The manager is a scroat and incredibly rude. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Stars doesn't even do this place justice. I would go to Hinode over any other Hibachi restaurant hands down. Great value, great food and the chef's are superb.

Hinode is my family's favorite place to eat. We love the food and the atmosphere. We have taken several of our friends there and they love it too. Lunch is a good deal for the price and amount.

horrible experience, i will never go back. my wife and i had ordered several rolls because we were hadnt eaten all day and were anticipating good sushi. boy were we wrong. the sushi chef there had no idea what he was doing, fish was old mealy, slimy, and smelled aweful. attempting to test a peice out i about gagged. we asked the waitress to take it away, and she did, then attempted to charged us for ALL OF IT. when we asked for the mananger, the owner came over and told us we had to pay for it because we ordered it and we just werent used to good sushi. insulted and angry we left without paying and will never go back. i would never on a good day suggest anyone to eat here.

I love Hinode. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Springfield. If you go for lunch it is a deal and you get a ton of food, dinner is a little more expensive but it is still great food. Even just getting the chicken is great and the steak, shrimp, and sushi helps to take it over the top. A+.

My girlfriend and I had a terrible experience at Hinode. When we got there it was very cold inside. The heaters were broken, so they brought a small space heater to our table. When I got my bill, it was thirty dollars over priced. They fixed it, and we left. A month later I got my statement, and found out after we left, they ran my card number again for another $70!! Horrible experience. Will NEVER GO BACK.

IT WAS AWESOME! THE STAFF AND EVERYTHING IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN NAKATOS. NAKATO IS SO OVERRATED AND OVERPRICED FOR WHAT THEY GIVE. GET THE DRAGON BDAY SPECIAL, IT WAS REALLY SOMETHING AND REALLY SPECIAL!
