Some friends took me out for my birthday. They told me we were going to Old Hickory on Brown St.I said ok I never ate at that one, only ate at the one on Main. Well I really enjoyed myself and everything was just as they said exellent, even our waitor Billie, he was one of the nices young man I have cross paths with in a long time. So I give Old Hickory on Brown St. a two thumbs up. and I will see you all on Monday, another friend is taking me to dinner for my birthday and ask where I wanted to go and you know what I said, see you on Monday.8/30

I hate to read bad reviews of this place, as our family loves it! I order the Roquefort burger every time and it's seriously the best burger i have ever had! We went today and everything was so fresh and hot...that I could barely eat my fries. Not a complaint---very fresh! I also had the salad with blue cheese crumbles, warm bacon, onion, tomato, and balsamic vinegar dressing. soooo yummo! Everyone I was with raved about all of their steaks and chops also. Our waitress was super nice and even split the salad that my mother and I ordered to share so that we didn't have to split it up ourselves. Very prompt with refills. Great experience again!!

I would give Barbecue Hut a high five on all their food and their help. We eat there at least once a week. Jim the owner is a real nice person and makes you feel confortable while you are there. Their food is the best and their Barbecue is the best.

Visited Huffies for the first time a few days ago, although I have lived in the Dayton, Ohio area for the last 27 years. The food was EXCELLENT! I was pleasantly surprised. Do not be put off by the neighborhood. The dining experience is well worth it

I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years and it still has the best ribs in Dayton. Friends who have retired to FL come here as soon as they get back to OH for the ribs and the great Shrimp cocktail. I never order ribs anywhere but here. Steaks are outstanding also. Service is excellent. It all is worth the wait!

Excellent food. Good sized portions for the money. Dining area is elbow to elbow, but the food makes it well worth it.
