My boyfriend and I are not from this area. We went online to research restaurants in Clearwater and Grind House seemed to have decent reviews. After dining there last night I totally disagree with the rave reviews. Service was okay, but the FOOD...Ugh!!!! My turkey in the cobb salad tasted like they should have expired it a month ago. My boyfriend's chicken and vegetable pie tasted like it was preprepared, frozen, thawed out, warmed up in microwave, then sat under a heat lamp for 20 min then served to him. It was the most disgusting food ever and I would never recommend eating here...save your money and your stomach.

It is a question of expectations. Is it Fine dining?...No! But for a nieghborhood bar and grill, the menu and food quality far exceeds expectations. Great wings & steaks (yes, steaks), as well as the British dishes you would expect. BOGO drink specials all the time, 2-4-1 Shephards Pie on Tuesdays. All good stuff and at a reasonable price. Again, exceeding expectations for similar establishments, yet here I am building the expectations.

Food here is very good and a great value. You can't go wrong with their salsa, it is very good. There are a few locations, but the one on East Bay is the best. The staff is friendly as well.

For $20 you can get a 12" sauage pizza delivered to your hotel. We thought the crust was too thick, not enough meat, and too greasy - but we did eat the whole pizza & the delivery was prompt.
