Great pizza...now I know why they call it famous stuffed pizza. The sevice was great even though we showed up with a large group without a reservation. My husband tried the baked mostaccioli and that was equally as good. I will definently be going back again.

Poor to mediocre food in the atmosphere of your neighbor's basement rec room

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. Went late last evening with my significant other. The music was hard guitar rock and too loud for a dining room - quite disturbing. In fact, the only dinner music I've experienced that was more disturbing was enduring the lyrics of "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull while trying to enjoy a filet mignon at an otherwise cute steak house. The dining room was also cold - I had to put my coat back on a few minutes after removing it, even though I was wearing a suit.

Being diet conscious, I found very little on their menu that was acceptible, so I ordered something safe - mostaccioli with marinara sauce. I would have liked a Greek salad, which was on the menu, but it's served in a portion too large to be a mere accompaniment to a full meal. I settled on a plain old dinner salad.

The pasta was overcooked and pasty. There really is no excuse for this at a restaurant specializing in Italian food! The sauce, well... think tomato juice thickened with corn starch! YUK. There was nary a lump of anything that resembled a remnant of a real tomato in it, nor a flake of an herb or seasoning. Chef Boy-ar-dee does better. Is it so hard to open a can of Italian tomatoes, season it and simmer it a while?

My partner ordered a small deep-dish pizza which was mediocre - the main ingredient being a gooey cheese which is difficult to mess up. The crust, however, was flat and flavorless - a sort of hard-tack feel to it.

We ordered a bottle of wine which, much to my horror, was fitted with a screw cap but was actually good.

My advice - bring the teenagers and order the pizza, never mind that it probably contains twice the calories a normal person should consume in a day. Don't dress up, but do wear a heavy sweater.
