As the only Indian restaurant within walking distance of the major hotels in central downtown Los Angeles, and situated inside one of the best value hotels in downtown, The Stillwell, Gills Cuisine of India is one of the top choices for local denizens and tired office workers for its very reasonably priced lunch buffets. Every day sports a new lunch buffet menu and the ambiance is quiet and personal. With overflow seating in the majestic hotel lobby full of oversized furniture, customers are never turned away for being too busy, even although this is one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Los Angeles. The food is excellent and they deliver locally by bicycle up to 11 pm most nights. Gills is the kind of restaurant that you can take your loved ones to impress them with your knowledge of the local downtown scene, and they will not be disappointed with the service or the food either.

Complete Waste of time and money , food is bad and pathetic , expensive , did not bring the food for atleast two hrs and did not give money back.

I and my mother enjoyed Sunday dinner here of delicious coconut curry (your choice of meat). Outdoor seating is peaceful with music playing quietly and dim lights. Mango ice-cream for dessert.
Very reasonable prices and great service.
