Gracie Ilardo Moore is the owner of Fortuna Grill Italian Ristorante - one of the very few locally-owned Italian restaurants with 100% Italian heritage. Her grandparents migrated to the US from Sicily, Italy and Gracie continues the tradition of their original Italian recipes. She brings her experience working in the restaurant industry prior to a successful corporate career, returning to her family's roots in the restaurant and food industry. Both of her parents and their extensive Italian families operated restaurants, butcher shops, and diners serving the needs of families across North Louisiana for many years. Her father and grandfather raised the cattle to supply these endeavors enabling them to ensure the highest quality veal and aged-beef menu items. Gracie continues that tradition today by purchasing only the finest products available to ensure the best quality for her customers -- from fresh produce to fine wines to outstanding seafood and the freshest chicken and veal available. Along with her Executive Chef, Jon Azevedo, who also shares an Italian heritage, they have created outstanding menu items certain to please the palate of anyone that enjoys an outstanding home-cooked Italian dish.
