We just moved to K'ville..and love both the town and Doss Ice Cream & Grill. It is so "home town" like where we moved from in Va. Love this fun, family atmosphere, good value and yummy ice cream!

~this is the place to be in kernersville! the owners keep the place running as smoothly as they can..the staff is warm and friendly usually! they are so funny...u might hear just about anything when u walk through their doors. people call them bossman and TD--and theres never a dull moment when these two get together. 23 yrs and hopely 23 more! just tell them hey for me, and ill be in sometime again very soon!

Sometimes you don't appreciate an all around great restaurant like Outwest when you live near by. My wife and I really miss this place and wish you could eat there again but we have moved away.

i know Doss and his wife TD...and the trouble they get themselves into is soooo funny! i think im going to write a book about them one day..and im a salesman of theirs...they are one good team {separate shifts} of course!! ying/yang they are :O)

I love this place..its been in kernersville since 1985. a family of four can eat for under 20 bucks..thats awesome, and their ice cream is to die for

obviously the "diner" before..hasn't been to doss' in over three years..that's how long they've been smoke free...they should research better before they open their mouth

We used to go to Doss' pretty often, but prefer Bill and Leah's now because of the smokiness of Doss'. Whenever we go, my Dad can barely breathe. Although their ice cream might be slightly better than most, Bill and Leah's isn't far behind.

This is an small town Ice Cream shop in every since. My husband and I enjoy ourselves everytime we go. Nothing fancy, but who needs fancy when you are going there for Ice Cream and hotdogs. Besides, you pay extra for fancy. Prices are awesome as well.

I think Doss has the best tasting ice cream in Kernersville. However, the atmosphere and service is nicer at Bill & Leahs.
