just want to say thank-you for the wonderful service the new girl gave us. She was such a polite nice young lady. It is such a pleasure to come in and be sitting at table. I just wanted to say thank-you so much for the wonderful service I had over the weekend. I had a very sweet young lady who was so helpful. I am so glad that she was so wonderful and so polite. I have asked for her because of the wonderful service she gave me and my children. Dont know where they found her but she was wonderful.

I just wanted to say how wonderful the new girl was. She was so pleasant and so polite. Anything I asked for she was very helpful. There should be more like this young lady. I hope to see her again when I come in. Such a blessing.

The food is good but stay away from bathrooms there disgusting.

My family and I went out to breakfast one Saturday morning. We have never dined there before and decided to try something knew. We were not all that impressed. The hashbrowns were cold and hard with barely any seasonings. Also, the owner was very unprofessional as we over heard him repremanding some of the waitstaff which made the experience uncomfortable. On a positive note our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

pros- excellent wait staff, clean, fun crowed, most of the food is excellent.

cons- owners treat staff like idiots and are close minded. hash browns soggy rabbit turd.

We stopped off in Derry for breakfast on our way to Logan airport. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous. I really enjoyed eating at the Derry Diner. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my frineds.

When the weather is nice on Sundays, my husband and I will get on the motorcycle and try out new restaurants for breakfast. Last week we had breakfast at the Derry Diner. The breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning!

I ate lunch here last week and it was very good. The sandwich was fresh, the service was excellent, and the waitress kept coming back to our table to check on us. I will definitely eat here again. A+++

Went for a late breakfast...they served lunch too! Had a burger and fries. well worth the price i paid, would recommend it to all who want a quick and juicy burger.

I worked at this diner for years before I moved to Maine. I still go to the diner when I am in NH visiting my children and grandchildren and we have always been welcomed to the diner no matter how busy it gets. The owners make it a point to come out to the busy dining room to say hi and make everyone feel welcome. The food and service is excellent and you always leave there with a full belly. Thumbs up!!

Excellent! With this economy, it's nice to know that you can still get more for your dollar. The food here was great (generous portions), The menu has plenty of choices (breakfast all day), & attentive servers (she kept the coffee coming). For once, (and most importantly) my food was cooked exactly the way I requested, and was perfect. This is my new favorite place for breakfast.I'd give it three thumbs up if I had them.

The hash and cheese omelet was outstanding! We were in town visiting and wanted a old time New England Diner breakfast.

I loved the food and the service was great. I couldn't believe how much food I got for the price. I ate breakfast there and the portions were large. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed my breakfast and plan to eat there next time I am in Derry visiting my relatives.

went to derry diner today.....what can I say... the place is GREAT!!! Excellent food and staff couldn't have been more accomadating. Even the owner was great. Maybe he was just having a bad day on the other review....everybody has them.

We came to Derry Diner after church today, Sunday March 29th as usual. There were 6 of us who had breakfast and after we ate we just were having brief conversation. We were rudely interrupted by the owner who came up to us and said "I Have standing room only can we rap it up" In other words I got your money now get the out. Never in our lives have we ever been asked to leave the premises from a restaurant. Two of the people are waitstaff at other locations one at T-Bones and the other at Cafe Teresa. The third person is a banquet manager at Angelica's restaurant in Middleton Mass. Never in all the years of our hospitality careers have any of us ever asked people to leave no matter how many people were in line waiting. The total bill with tip came to $60.00 and with the way the economy is today no one should be treated this way.We will no longer frequent the diner and believe me the word will get out. My advice to you (the owner) go take a class on people skills because you are just plain ignorant and rude, or take the money we spent there and go to charm school.

I've lived in Derry for seven going on eight years, and this year is the first time I've ever gone to the Derry Diner...and I love it, I haven't gone anywhere else for breakfast since I first started to go to the Diner. I love their food, and their service is so good. Everyone is so friendly and soo nice.!

Primarily serving breakfast it also serves lunch. It is open early morning to early afternoon. It is a small "diner" and jeans and t-shirt are quite acceptable attire.
The line you find outside on weekend mornings are witness to the great breakfast foods and reasonable prices. The service is reasonably quick for being so busy.
