Massapequa Restaurant Guide

Visited restaurant in Massapequa for my husbands birthday. Three people, myself, my mother and my husband were escorted to a seat promptly. Informed our waiter Adam would be with us shortly. After 10-20 minutes no water or waiter had come. A family of 6 with children came in while we were still waiting. A baby seat was given to them promptly along with a waitress who took their order immediately. After witnessing this, I got up and informed this waitress how unhappy I was and shocked to be ignored like this (something that never happened like this before). We left. How would you have handled this?
