Coppa's mussels are as good as they get; as good as the mussels that I had in Rome and San Remo. Sometimes we order all of the seafood appetizers, they are that good.
Their meat entrees are also quite good.
The salad bar is limited, but the deserts are good.
There is a big bar near the dining room, which is often pretty noisy, but does not get rowdy. Just people having a good time.
More people wear boots and jeans than ties and jackets.

Coppa 82 is a Downingtown standard. The food is terrific and well priced, but the dining area and bar could use a facelift. I consider that minor considering the overall value of the place. They have half price pizza (eat in only) on Mondays and happy hour specials every day 4-6. If you order pasta, ask for the "homemade" -- it's great with any sauce or entree they serve. The veal marsala and mussels are a must try.

The inside is drab and dreary with dirty silverware. There are flies flying around, and to top off everything they don't accept credit cards. A place this gross really makes you want to think twice about ordering their "famous mussels". I wouldn't dare eat seafood in this so called restaurant. This place is the definition of a "Dive bar"
