Yeah, the ambience is definately not the best. Not that the service and food makes up for it completely, but I guess osme of us prefer a better environment. It did seem like a nice, friendly place for the usuals and it was actually pretty full in its small place. Wasn't bad, decent, but not the best. The food was good though.
Connie and Barbara's may not be a sight for the eye ambience however, I think that it makes the neighbors and regulars feel right at home! As if their long time hangout has never perished. The food is one that will take you back to your gandmothers house when breakfast was QUALITY. It makes you feel carefree as when you were but a youngen...
