About Ciatti's Chianti Grill

Friendly, fun and great to meet up with old friends -- which I did last week after not seeing my former roommate for 25 years. Great atmosphere!

A diner from Rochester, MN Jul 26, 2006
There are very few "too die for" restaurants in the South Suburbs of Minneapolis. Go for Lunch (average entree about $10 with salad). Deserts are sinful...service can be world class to less than that depending who you get. Ambience is spectacular
A diner from Paul, MN Aug 25, 2001
I have travelled coast to coast and have dined at all th ebst. Ciatti'a in Burnsville is a "best kept secret". The food is always from scratch and is very tasty. I have met several chef's there and they are all well trained and capable of mixing with E.C's from the very best places in town. Reasonable wine list. The best part is the food... try the peppered, rare ahi with mango chutney appetizer and the salmon (when available). Don't let the "Italian" name fool you, it has the best steaks in town as well.

If you like tacky decor, than this is the place for you. Every inch of the wall is painted or has some hideous picture or statue displayed. The large bulb Christmas lights dangling all over the restaurant is a plus.

NOT the jimmys lemon tree old timers from the twin cities area remember fondly, but a hideous dump with the worst ribs ever. avoid at all costs unless a meal of gristle and fat with no flavor is your cup of tea.
