My husband and I just left China Town at 2910 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd and I was most disatisfied with the dining experience. The items on the buffet were luke-warm at best. When we mentioned this to our server, and asked if hot items would be added to the buffet she said "no" and walked away. The bottle of beer my hubby got was not cold. To top off our under whelming experience, when we paid for this meal, the server hurried to catch us to advise that she forgot to charge me for my coke and asked for an additional $1.25 (we had already settled the tab!). I told the cashier that the meal was unsatisfactory and all she said was that she put the food out herself, and it was hot. Not impressed, not going back. Pity too, because I've been there before and thought the food was good. Maybe the cooks were different, but this was not worth paying for. Two other tables agreed and spoke out as well. Be warned!

Ask for your food to be cooked "french style" for some of the best tasting food in Charlotte. I ate lunch there 3-5 times a week for several years.You won't find better food or better value anywhere in the city.

The building is small and does not have the extra decor like some other places but it is clean. And the food is wonderful. I especially like the veggie fried rice and egg dropp soup which has lots of egg and spring onion
