Our party of three all had Italian. Everything was excellent, from the service to best Italian food with Sinatra in background to a quite ambience. Best we've had since moving to Charlotte area from NY. Also enjoyed a very good white wine, Avondale (S. Africa) which was recomended by our server, Lisa. We'll be back!!Hey Frankies -Wonder where can we buy that wine?

The food is average Italian at best, which I can live with. THE PROBLEM is the lack of quality service and the lack of caring and resoect that they gave us as customers. The server had almost NO knowledge of the wines and lacked professional behavior. Overall this was the WORST dining exp we ever encountered. We are never going back!!

The ambience of the restaurant is amazing! So romantic! Classic Sinatra and friends playing in the background! Perfect first date or special occasion place! The portions are huge and taste wonderful! Excellent Itailian wine selection and don't forget the lemoncello! Definitley a place to visit when you are in Charlotte!

Total delight. Service is excellent as is the food. Wonderful wine selection completes the experience of dining here. Romantic dinner for two or festive dinner for a large group, Frankies serves both.

my overall experiance at Frankies was fantastic and I look forward to returning asap
the service is very nice. truly pleasant. the restaurant is 'frankies'. lots of sinatra. the food is humongous portions. the pricing is, well, pricey, ranging from 6.95 for a salad to $20 for a 'special' entree. but remember, the portions are humongous, from soups to desserts. this is not a little kid place. this place is for grownups. dont be surprised to spend $80 for three people. easily $40-50 for two if not more. wonderful dining experience overall. absolutely recommend this place!

Frankies is a most excellent restaurant for Italian food in Charlotte. The atmosphere is in the 30s / 40s with Frank Sinatra music, hence (I assume) the name Frankies.
