I went here 2 weeks ago with my friend. The food was great, the wait staff super, and service was very fast. I enjoyed everything there and intend to go back this weekend.

Go only if you want to have chicken which is very good. Poor ambiance. In other words go only you don't feel like cooking are hungry and just want chicken to eat and don't want to spend much money.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES .My family and I have experience poor customer services at this restaurant on several different occasions. My family and I frequent this establishment on a regular basis, and we have found that there is a reoccurring problem with employee customer service. The only reason that we have continued to patronize this place of business, is because my family and I truly enjoy your Peruvian dishes. During my most recent visit to this restaurant on June 11, 2010, my family and I had the worse customer service that we have ever experience from any restaurant ever!!!
When we arrived at this establishment, we ordered our meal and waited patiently for our food to be prepared. We were told approximately 10-15 minutes after we ordered our food that the restaurant had run out of rotisserie chicken. The server did not ask if we wanted to order something different, but proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait for what we had already ordered. Because we really enjoy peruvian food, we decided to wait and ordered appetizers. After another 30 minutes wait, we still did not get our appetizers or meal. During this time, the server had not returned to our table to bring our order or check on us. When we finally got his attention, we asked why we had not received our appetizers; he stated that the cook had to leave the restaurant to purchase some hot dogs from the grocery store. My family and I were very disappointed that no owner, manager or server ever came over to our table, to explain or apologize for the long wait time, or poor customer service my family and I were experiencing.
Finally, after approximately 1½ hours of not getting any food or service, we decided to leave and patronize another competitor restaurants. My family and I still can’t believe the poor customer service that we received on this last visit, especially with the state of today’s economy; good customer service should be a primary focus/goal. Apparently this company or employee’s do not realize that Good Customer Service is critical and the key to success in any business today, and word of mouth on Poor Customer Service can sink a company fast.

Watch out for this place. They consistently try to overcharge diners. On my bill they tried to overcharge more than $15.00. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter he said "There must have been some mistake. Other people have told me they had similar experiences. Otherwise food is just average.

They should change the waiters often do not have good relationship with the customer preference is always for the restaurant not for the consumer, the tables are too small same thing the dishes , the porcion for the french fries are ridiculous and have no option to claim , I just like a meal that the rest is as it should be.

Genaro's is always a good choice. Great rotisserie chicken, tamales are good - real corn husks, and friendly service. Very reasonably priced, lots of food for the money. Tried the pork chop this time and it was awesome. Great seasonings used - not the ordinary.

Here is the thing. If you want probably the best Rotisserie Chicken in Charlotte, then go to Genaro's. I will not suggest anything else for the rest of dishes lack of original taste and presentation. But the Chicken, will leave you wanting for more.

Food is amazing - we clean our plates. We just got back from Peru and wanted to taste the chicken and Genaros was even better that the one we had in Lima, the place is clean and nice and the decor is very attractive.
