This has been my favorite Chinese restaurant since moving to Indy 16 years ago. They have the best hot and sour soup I've ever had and I love the wor shu chicken and almond boneless chicken. The Mongolian beef is also excellent as well as their eggrolls. The owner and his family are always pleasant to talk to as well and service is always very good. I also got to see one of my child hood idols eating there one day and after he and his wife finished eating he was kind enough to do his trademark creepy laugh and some of his lines from his old show on channel 4. It was just a nice special memory I'll always have from there. I have been to Chinese places all over the country and this is always the one I compare them to.

I thought the First Wok was a very welcoming and lovely place to have a meal. Though the dining space is limited the prices are low and more portions than most places. Love the chicken fried rice!! :)
