We always order take out from here. I haven't had a change to eat in, but I love this restaurant. The food is great and you get plenty for a pretty low price. The staff is so friendly and the restaurant is inviting.

Wonderful service and even better food! Hong Kong Garden (which used to be in China Cottage's place) was my favorite restaurant of all time, but now that China Cottage has come along, I've found a new favorite! The food is as high as ranking with PF Chang's on my list. The Sweet and Sour chicken is to die for! The staff is friendly, and the prices are very fair! My little sister and I were both able to eat there for less than $15 (with sizable portions I might add). Wonderful little place! I highly recommend it!

China Cottage (formerly Hong Kong Garden) is hands down the best translation of Chinese / Taiwanese cuisine into the American "Chinese food standard". The selection at China Cottage (formerly Hong Kong Garden) is endless, ranging from simple Mongolian Chicken to extremely authentic specials concocted for only a week's use by the head chef.

The service ranges from excellent to average, some of the servers there are under the age of twenty and some have been serving for the past ten years. The prices are extremely reasonable.

Whatever your experience at the China Cottage (formerly Hong Kong Garden) is, you will want to go back.

I have been going to this restaurant for at least 20 years and the food has stayed consistant and good. The owners are great the staff is friendly and their food is very good and afordable.

We tried this place after living in Katy for 17 years. The food and service was excellent. We will be going back here again. The people were friendly, sincere and the place was very clean.
