There are quite a few things that keep me coming back to a restaurant no matter what. When it comes to Chili’s, those things are amazing chips and queso, the awesome warm chocolate oozing out of the cake, and delicious French fries. It seems that no matter the price or the service I receive, as long as I can have all of these things, I will be happy.
There are also quite a few things that I don’t like about restaurants that make me not want to come back (yet I still do). One of those things is if my server doesn’t check with me a few times during my meal to make sure everything is going okay. It seems that no matter what, when I go to Chili’s, I am never satisfied with the effort my server puts in to see if I am enjoying my meal. On this last particular time I went to Chili’s, my server checked with me not once during the meal. Well, unless you count just walking by the table, glancing over real fast, and then continuing on.
Another thing that I cannot stand is if my server doesn’t seem like they want to be doing what they are doing. Sure, most people don’t exactly love their job, but that doesn’t mean that for the sake of it you shouldn’t pretend to be happy to be there. My most recent server at Chili’s could definitely use a talk on how to be more hospitable and friendly. When I receive not even one smile the whole entire time I am there, it kind of makes me feel like my patronage is not appreciated or wanted.
Nonetheless, despite the bad experience with this particular time, and others I may have had in the past, I am always happy with Chili’s when it comes to the price and portions of the food. Nothing beats getting an appetizer, two entrée’s, and dessert for only 20 dollars. Unfortunately, the choices for the two entrée’s are limited, but they have decent meals on there for that price. I definitely won’t be complaining.
So it seems that no matter how bad the service is, the delicious food always makes me forget about it eventually. I don’t ever see myself leaving Chili’s and saying, “I really am not going to come back here again,” and ever sticking to that.

“Applebee’s”, a restaurant I once loved. So much in fact, it was a Thursday night ritual for my husband and I for quite some time. Of course, like many other things, Cheyenne just has a way of not caring about service, quality of food, or any “extras ...
