There are only two reasons to go to this place. First and foremost is that they pretty much have a monopoly on cheap late night dining downtown. The second is that they will make tasty milkshakes out of any of their ice cream flavors for you. However, the rest of their food is pretty terrible (if you want to see something interesting, order what they're calling "grits") and the place just has a really weird and sort of tense vibe. For example, I watched a reasonably respectable looking middle aged couple try to check in to the B&B upstairs, and the owner asked the lady to show him her left hand. Confused, she did, and he explained that he was looking for her wedding ring! That seemed extremely rude to me, and just weird. It's a weird place.

On 8-15-2006 I was sitting in CHICK & RUTHS DELLY for about 20 minutes and received no service. I was not acknowledged by any of the staff. I felt like I was invisible to any of the staff. After noticing a second table that came in after us, get service I got up and left, only then I was noticed. Food may be good but I wouldn’t wait for a waiter or waitress for 20 minutes. There are plenty of good places in Annapolis to eat that have excellent service.

Enjoying rockfish with crab meat at Rockfish, downtown Annapolis.
Both the the rockfish and the crab are extremely fresh. The sauce is very light, with the right combination of herbs and spices!

Stumbled in after a home game. The place was packed. We had one of the most enjoyable experiences in a while. A high energy place with a great feel. The food was spectacular and the service was right there. Kudos.
