This restaurant has been one of Dallas' best kept secrets, it's not that there won't be a wait when you get there it's that old timers like myself (been going there 30+ years) don't want the word out too much.As a chef I'm really aware of the behind the scenes work that it takes to put out a spread like this, these folks do a masterful job. The person behind this knows what they're doing. All the entrees' are toothsome, just like at my house. Awesome !

Everything about our dining experience was pleasent. I started out with the Cajun Catfish, then sampled the Jerk Chicken; had a taste of the Pot Roast (at no additional charge)and ended with the peach cobbler. The mashed potatoes set the standard for homemade greatness. Yummmmmmmmmmm!

A very friendly and family oriented atmosphere. You will feel like your at an older realative's house, one that knows how to cook. Large portions provide plenty to eat, with lots of variety.
