Billed as "A Cuban Place...Cafe & Gardens" and nestled among huge shade trees with nary a car or bit of traffic from Biscayne Boulevard in sight, Cafe d'Art has the atmosphere, food, music and cultural vibe to please anyone looking for something different. Come here to nibble on plates of assorted cheeses, mixed olives or mixed meats from their tapas/appetizer section or do a mix and match with their specialty tapas platter. With comfy couches set around a table underneath a large gazebo tent, a stage set up under a smaller tent and intimate tables and chairs placed under the massive trees, this is a place to take in some great tapas appetizers, sandwiches and desserts. They do have a small interior space with some tables and chairs and some bar seating but the draw here is outdoors.

Providing a cultural as well as culinary experience is the spot's draw so they offer live music Friday and Saturday nights with local musicians and they change regularly since bands are welcomed to play here. Local artists are also invited to display their work here so in essence, it's a great spot for up and comers to be seen and heard and perhaps even discovered.
