I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and one unsweetened iced tea. The bill was $16.90. With tip close to $20. The salad was good. Not twenty bucks good. Very overpriced.

It's been a number of years since I went to the New City Diner. I noticed the last several times I went the others who came later than I were seated while I waited. I asked hostess if it was policy to seat couples before singes and she said "Yes."

This diner is a rip-off. Their diner on 202 in Yorktown is even worse. The food is very expensive. They overcharge for every little extra or substitution. Not worth the experience.
