While vacationing in Corpus, we had been told (and read glowing reviews on other web sites) of the greatness of this place. Boy, were we disappointed! If you are looking for true MEXICAN seafood dishes, keep looking. If you are looking for bland dishes with little spiciness, you'll be happy (to me, it didn't even qualify as Tex-Mex). Our son had the fried chicken and he was happy, but the rest of us we disappointed.

Whenever we are at the beach, or just finished fishing we always stop at Blackbeards. They have really great food and service. My family loves to sit on the patio and listen to the singers. Sometimes we take our kids "treasure" hunting on the beach and then to eat at a pirate restuarante!
