Besta One Italian Grille

Besta One Italian Grille is the best restaurant in the area. I have tried most of the restaurants and none compare with their food, service, cleanliness and prices. We visit 2 a month and have tried most of their menu, I have not found any dishes that I was not pleased with, from appetizers to desserts, they are the best!!!!

Just a note to let you know how impressed we were with Besta One this weekend. My husband and I enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere, the music and dinner. We enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon with the Besta One Italian Feast Platter for Two. Our server was polite and attentive, our meal was done to perfection and the price was very reasonable. Keep up the good work!

THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT ANYWHERE IN TOWN, FLAT OUT, HANDS DOWN. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN. JUST LIKE DINING OUT IN MANHATTAN. HAVEN'T HAD BETTER SINCE WE LEFT 25 YEARS AGO. THE ATMOSPHERE IS FUN & UPBEAT & THE SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH. THIS IS A QUALITY DINING EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND. THE WEEKEND SPECIALS ARE ELEGANT & SUPURB IN QUALITY & PRESENTATION. BIG MENU, PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM. ALSO THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD, BY THE WAY. MY GRANDKIDS LOVE THE PIZZA MAN THAT THROWS THE PIZZA IN THE AIR & SINGS WHILE HE DOES IT. WE ALWAYS TAKE VISITORS HERE WHENEVER THEY COME. IT'S MY MOTHER-IN-LAW'S FAVORITE NIGHT OUT WHENEVER SHE VISITS. NICE WINE LIST, LINEN NAPKINS, WARM, INVITING, CLEAN, CONTEMPORARY, COMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE. ELEGANT & CASUAL, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. GREAT MUSIC,TOO! YOU WON'T FIND ANYWHERE BETTER TO TREAT YOURSELF TO A NICE NIGHT OUT. WAITSTAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY & KNOWLEDGABLE & OWNERS ARE GREAT FUN, TOO. WE ALWAYS SEE PEOPLE WE KNOW WHEN WE GET THERE & WIND UP SHARING DRINKS. NOT THE CHEAPEST IN TOWN, BUT BY FAR THE BEST & WORTH EVERY PENNY. DEFINATELY OUR FAVORITE SPOT.

Good pizza,bad service! We were there 7 months ago after my kids school play to celebrate. We waited more than one hour for an order of pizza. They were busy, so we waited 30 mins before asking the waiter what happened to our pizza. We heard them talking to each other, he forgot to put the order in. People who came after us were leaving already so we asked for it again 15 mins later. The excuse was they were busy and it will be out shortly.One hour later, still no pizza, my kids are falling asleep, our waiter disappeared, we have to ask other waiters to refill our drinks. Pizza came more than an hour after we ordered it, no apology, no explanation, waiter disappeared again. Usually in a decent restaurant when you voice your concern, that you have been waiting that long for an order, the manager or somebody will talk to you, not in this place. This was 7 months ago, and we've never been back until last Saturday.
My husband finally convinced me to eat there again, service was fine,not as bad as the last time. But this time, they charged his credit card with someone else's bill. He found this out the next day, they charged his card twice, one for our bill and another diner's of $40+. So I called and the person who answered the phone said "those charges were supposed to be credited back". I asked for the manager, manager not available, left our phone number to call us back, never happened. Monday, they were closed. Tuesday my husband stopped by the restaurant, same thing, manager will call him back, of course he did not get a call back. The charge on the account is now more than $50.00 because of the tip that was added. My husband had to call again, because no one was returning his calls. Thursday, he called and told them that if this issue was not resolved, they would be reported to the BBB. Everyone that we talked was rude, offered no apologies and had no idea what needed to be done. For some reason, the people who run this place do not how to apologize, or follow up on customer concerns. We are still waiting for something to happen, it will be a week tomorrow. Good food, but horrible customer service, it's not worth it!

Go to Ercalano's on Mariner and Northcliffe, Food is just as good, priced more realistically and the service has always been good for us. (I am not affiliated with Ercalanos)
