A group of 10 of us met at Bar Louie in Milwaukee for dinner. One person ordered Tilapia and I ordered Salmon. When these two dishes came, the broccoli was very cold and almost raw. We both sent the dinners back, and it appears that the cook may have just put the entire plates in a microwave, as now the broccoli was warm but still not decently cooked, and both our orders of fish were very dry and rubbery. The people in our party who ordered hamburgers or salads were happy with their food.
Our service on the whole left much to be desired. In watching our waitress, it looked as though she only had two tables, yet we waited way too long for drinks and other service. I didn't even have the opportunity to speak with her about my dissatisfaction with my dinner. We were on time constraints and I hadn't eaten all day, otherwise I would have sent it back to the kitchen.
Due to the bad service, the waitress would have only received a 10% tip, but due to the size of our party the tip was included on the bill. (Was the bad service due to the fact that she knew the tip would be guaranteed?)
Upon paying the bill, I was short $11.17 so put that amount on my bank card. The restaurant actually deducted $13.40 instead of the $11.17. I am livid. It's the principle, not the amount.

The food was outstanding and even out-shined the shoddy service. I think the the food is very progressive and has numerous dishes from around the world to try.
This is NOT a tapas restaurant, rather a restaurant serving smaller portions for the di
