Very nice place with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. The waiters are friendly and helpful.
Bali Satay is one of the things I miss most about Ames after moving from the town. Friendly staff and excellent cooking make for a terrific lunch for Iowa State employees, as it's right across the street from campus. Students looking for lunch may wish to phone ahead, all food is prepared fresh and may take a while depending on the order.

The food is good here but pricey for a Saturday lunch since the lunch specials are only available M-F.
Also, this place needs to change their carpeting or something. It smells musty like the carpeting was wet at some point.

The best Indonesian food anywhere with great drink selections. Healthy and fresh to order everytime. Great service with a personal touch. Prices are reasonable. A calm and clean atmosphere to dine in.

Has to be one of the secret treasures in Ames. Used to have a completly Indonesian menu but now has chinese as well. Simply the best chinese and indonesian in Ames. Also has tons of live music and pushes to showcase local musicians.
