My husband and I have eaten here MANY times, as well as recommended it to many people. However, we went tonight (12/7/07) and were terribly disappointed! To name a few examples ... we ordered Filé gumbo and were served another kind. The rice wasn’t cooked (a comment we’ve mentioned before to management), they were out of lump crab meat for my lemon butter sauce and offered claw meat instead. I accepted, only to receive 3 tiny SLIVERS of crab meat! They’ve even changed they’re bread ... to a kind that is gummy and unpalatable. Basically, both our meals were a profound failure, in our opinion. Pretty sad when you pay $75.00 for a meal for two. I don’t know if or when we’ll return. I would like to say that the wait staff are polite and do try to accommodate. I wonder if the reason for the decline is due to a changed management. Something has certainly changed!

i can not review this restaurant as i will never eat there. to set a manditory gratuity is uncalled for. if a customer does not feel their service warrants a certain percentage they sould have the opportunity to address the issue with management.
