Wichita Restaurant Guide

This is the best BBQ in Wichita. First, because it is a buffet and you can eat all you want, and second, they really smoke their meat in the back and the flavor is awesome. There is a wide variety of meat, salad bar, soft drinks and bread. I go there every Saturday for lunch, and I have never had anything that I didn't like. I don't usually eat ribs, but theirs are great. My favorite is the brisket, perfect! Best of all, is the great value.

Remember this is a BBQ Buffet, so some of the usual dining attributes do not apply. Everyone has their favorites, I am not a big fan of ham in general, but it theirs has a good smoke flavor. The chicken if very good as well, but because I eat some much chicken throughout the week, I only eat it on occasion. The beans are very good, and the salads and other sides are fine, but that is not why I go. I am here for the MEAT! The pulled pork is awesome, tender and juicy, the brisket is always lean and tasty. Consistently the ribs usually very good and meaty. The smoke flavor is superb, robust yet mildly sweet. The hotlinks are above average, but one of the few areas that could possibly be improved. I like a small amount of sauce on the side, and their hot sauce is great, good heat without overwhelming the smokey goodness of the meat. The mild is good but lacking that punch that I prefer. Value? probably one of the best in town or area. In a recent trip to KC, I spent half again as much on a BBQ lunch that wasn't as good. Rock On B&C!
