Arnaud's Richelieu Room offers a completely different experience than the main dining room, which is gloriously sparkling from beveled glass windows and crystal chandeliers. The Richelieu provides a live Dixieland Jazz Band accompanied by the full menu of Creole specialties - it was a rollicking good timein tune with Shrimp Arnaud, Trout Meuniere and the city's best bread pudding and whiskey sauce.

After several visits where we explored the classic Creole menu, we began sampling the nightly special. With that we are told, the chef creates a meal from what is best in the market that day. Service is extremely knowledgible and gracious. The lunch menu explores hard to find local favorites such as deviled eggs and boiled beef brisket, artichokes and a wonderful quail dish.
