Finally they got their liquor license!!! If you have gone the Amalfi in Port Washington try the one in Glen Cove, it's much better. The difference between the two is not the food because both places have great food. Port Washington doesn't have good pizza. The owner in Port Washington is a arrogant person and you can easily se he doesn't care his customers. I often see hear him talking like a show off and personally don't care for him. The owner in Glen Cove however is respectful, funny and very charismatic. His name is Michael and I know that because he introduced himself the first time I sat down and gave me a glass of wine for free. You can truly see he is genuine and is not just there for money. He has a passion for people and knows food. Being a culinary critic I have long conversations with him and it amazes me how much and how smart a man he is. For someone who is new in the business he sure seems like he knows what he is doing.
