The Department…what a great establishment to have in our county. The building in itself is something to see architecturally. The owners did a great job by combining two older buildings downtown Joliet into one business. Besides the building it has an excellent management team, wait staff, barte...

Just had a great dinner there last night. Every Wednesday they have a half price menu that includes Apps, burgers, entree's & bottles of wine. My husband & I had a wonderful dinner with 2 entree's, salads an appetizer & a bottle of wine for under $40. AMAZING!!

This is by far the best and only worth while Chinese food restaurant in the Joliet area. I am from Chicago and it's hard to find good Chinese in the suburbs, so I know.
Very Good
This is this the best Chinese reasturaunt in the Joliet area period. Also, the food at the Dragon Light is consistently fresh and good. They have been in the area for a long time.

Merichka's is the best restaurant in the Will County area. Not only does it have the best poorboy's I or anyone I know has ever had, but their steaks are tops also. The overall quality is awesome. I will always be a regular whenever I come home and vist!!!

I am 50 and ate there as a kid prior to leaving the area at the age of 18. I've travelled around the world and nothing compares to the tasty poor boy sandwich. I only wish they could send me one.
