I just came back from having lunch over there. I haven't eaten there since I was a little child and I remembered why I used to love going there so much. I ordered the raw short neck clams, which were delicious. I then had a order of the snow crab legs. They were perfect! I practically inhaled them. The only problem I ran into was wanting a wetnap for after the crab legs, but some wetnaps came with the bill.

It's pretty good for a neighborhood place. Their salmon is wonderful. the lobster, if not too burnt, is good.
The windows overlooking the water are filthy dirty, though.
Clean the windows - this is a restaurant for goodness sake.

NIck's is a brooklyn treasure, the food is good, the atmossphere is pleasant and the is pretty decent as well. i must say i would rather dine in than buy from the market.Alot of the stuff is frozen and slighty over priced. They r also not very informative on how to purchase lobsters and various other seafood.
