Carrie Lee's of Waterford

Carrie Lee's is a Waterford landmark going back many years and a uniquely satisfying dining experience. The food is always excellent, although sometimes a little on the greasy side. If you like to experiment, the menu is diverse and the standard items like Chop Suey and Sweet & Sour Chicken never disappoint. The staff is competent and friendly. Service occasionally can be a little slow but I believe it's because the food is prepared with care. Carrie Lee's ambience is a delight! Large windows on the main dining room overlook an oriental garden and Waterford's Williams Lake, while another dining room is more dimly lit and cozy. There's also a small bar tucked away in a corner. It's the fantastic collection of carved oriental ivory pieces that really knocks me out! You'll also enjoy the live oriental fish pond as you enter. Prices are reasonable but a bit more than other Chinese places in the area. The food is worth an extra buck or two. Carrie Lee's is open on Christmas Day too, and it's become a Christmas tradition for my family. Very highly recommended!
