My family loves eating at Cafe' Paulista because the food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is so home-like. I read another review that said they were treated like long lost family. That's it, exactly. My husband likes to get the "Trust Val" because he is never disappointed. This is the only restaurant I go to that I order something different every time, and I have never been disappointed.

Great Place! Good food, Service...they treat you like long lost family! May be in an "Old Waffle House" but it is a MUST Try...
Love the Val's Special, which turns the menu selection back over to Val, the owner. NEVER been disappointed! Superb Family Style Brazilian food. We go back often!

Contrary to a previous poster, I have been to Cafe Paulista with four grandchildren (ages 4-10) and welcomed. I consider myself a regular at this restaurant and have nothing but good things to say about the food and the service. The service is slower than some places, because each meal is prepared after you order it and it takes some time. If you want authentic Brazilian food, Cafe Paulista is the place to go.

Do NOT go if you are a family with children! You won't be welcome, apparently the management thinks all children should go to chucky cheese, atleast this is what they told me! beleive me, my kids behave in restaurants or we leave, in fact i've been approached several times about how well behaved my kids are in restaurants. I really think they were unprepared for a busy night and decided to take it out on a customer... will not go back if you paid me!
