I found out about Osteens and after reading so many good reviews - I decided to check it out. I think the biggest reason so many people love it is because it's just like what you'd make at home if you were a good cook. And I really did enjoy my dinner. There was a lengthy wait, though (which I understand is the norm at Osteens); and I was expecting a little more based on that and the reviews I've read. It's not (as one reviewer put it) the best restaurant ever - but you could definitely do worse in St. Augustine. I'd say try it out!

I drive all the way from Orlando just to have lunch at Osteens, it has the best shrimp, hush puppies and green beans i have ever had.If you love shrimp you need to try Osteens, you will go back again and again.

Osteens is the best restaurant ever!!!!!!!!!!! Im from seattle and i have been eating here for 10 years. When were in st.augustine we always eat here.

This place is definitely NOT fast food. The seafood is so good that the wait is often hours.
