I recently attended a wedding catered by Maggie's Buns. Lovely staff, delicious food and gorgeous presentation! Can't wait to try the restaurant now!

I love this restaurant and eat there often. Fun atmosphere, hardworking and friendly staff. The lattes are usually better than Starbucks and the buns are to die for (get it with frosting!).

I have lived in FG for 7 years and have yet to see all the tables clean. Food is good - espresso is BAD. Service is poor.....perhaps it is because I am not a teenage boy or a family member! Ambiance is overdone (seen this a million times in Portland and everywhere else).

Maggie's buns is the type of restaurant that you never want to leave; the food is so good you want to stay until the next meal, the staff is so friendly you want to stay and chat all day, and the atmosphere is so comfortable that you feel like you're in your own kitchen. I would also recommend Maggie's for catering, the food is amazing no matter where you take it and her catering staff are friendly and proffessional.

Maggie's Buns was such a great little find, I was on my way to the coast with my family and stopped here for breakfast. The food was amazing and filling. Her cinnamon rolls are unbelievable and Maggie is so great! I absolutely love everything about this place. The ambiance, food, customer service and just overrall feeling. This is a must have...

You walk into Maggie's and it's like coming home: totally relaxing and cozy. There is a surreal atmosphere about the place, partly due to the cloud-painted ceiling, but mainly due to the fact that each chair is unique, as if purchased one by one at different garage sales and then painted in bright colors and glitter. Strange signs hang on the walls, such as, "Desserts is Stressed Spelled Backwards" and, "Happiness is a Man in Your Kitchen--Doing the Dishes!" There is a severed arm holding a bouquet and a picture of a woman wearing a giant bagel.

Maggie's cinnamon buns are outrageously good. Coffees are strong and tasty. The lasagna is to die for. The wait staff treat you as if they are your good friends and have invited you over for lunch. Tip them well!

Discover Maggie's Buns. You'll go back.

Look, I moved to Forest Grove about a year ago, and finding Maggie's Buns was like discovering that magic and food could coexist in an urban environment in the 21st Century, just the way it used to back in the Sixties. Everyone smiles at everyone else. From the moment you open the door, you feel immersed in a sense of reverie and ... it's almost like entering a church where they serve food and good coffee. Maggie's is a stone's throw from Pacific University, but it exactly captures the spirit of the Sixties with an upbeat, humorous 21st century decor... thanks to Maggie's common sense about letting the young decorate the place. You'll swim in the ambiance.
Maggie's Buns is a work of art, disguised as a Monday through Saturday restaurant. Don't miss it. It isn't just about the food.

My girlfriend and I try to make MB a weekly breakfast experience. The staff is not just friendly and fast, but human. You'll feel like you're being served by Goddess Herself, when the food comes. It's a totally feminine and friendly environment. The coffee is hot, strong, sweet, and good. The food is not just tasty but indescribably satisfying, right out of your childhood memories when you still had taste buds. When we come for breakfast on Saturday, the place is inevitably full of bicyclists, multiple clans of Spandex-clad exercise freaks who seem to be the sweetest and most considerate class of sport nuts in the universe... and they sure as hell know where to have a great breakfaston a Saturday morning. Maggie's is the kind of place that Rod Serling should be standing outside, talking to the camera and smiling. Not just magical or surprising, but a lot of fun. If you haven't eaten breakfast at Maggie's Buns in Forest Grove, Oregon, do so soon, so you can tell your grandchildren that You Were There.

And when you've had enough good food, good music, pretty girls and good atmosphere, kindly tip heavily, brothers and sisters. Think of it as a tithe to a whole generation of American youth. This is a place staffed by budding geniuses, students working in the service sector, old souls all. I will never get over the feeling that we'll hear more from them, in the days to come.

But don't take my word for it. Go there. Order something. Find out for yourself about Maggie's Buns.

This is a fabulous place. You can not call this place a canned restaurant in any way. The food is the best. Home made and always tasty and different. Ambience, what can I say it is funky and comfortable. The staff and owners are friendly and inviting. If you have not been there you need to go.

Love this funky place! Maggie and her staff are all so fun and friendly! The food is great (the cinnamon buns are to die for), and the place is fun - we find something new to look at each time we're there.

This place is awesome! There is a great homemade menu of foods like thai chicken salad and mexican meatball soup, and som great salads. The staff was so friendly, joking and conversing with all the customers. This place is a must for those in the Portland area!
