Clackamas Restaurant Guide

We moved to Clackamas a week ago and were fortunate to eat at the Lucky Star this week. It was great and our family of 5 enjoyed all the foods. We loved their potstickers and I loved their Lo Mein. The staff was so gracious and the resturant is lovely. It was a special dinner for our Chinese New Year!

We discovered Lucky Star about a year ago and go there 3-4 times per month. We love it. The food is wonderful, service excellent, and the atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and absolutely no cooking odors. Our favorites are Mandarin Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Sesame Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken. We also happen to love the pot stickers and their hot and sour and egg flower soups. There is always food to take home and we feel the price is very reasonable. We really enjoy every trip there.

We enjoy this restaurant for the food and service. Like any restaurant we look for dishes we like then try other items. Kung pao chicken is made with peanuts and chicken the way it should be made. Potstickers another favorite of ours is not rated very high at all here. They do not make the filling properly and are very dry and over cooked, which is odd beacause they definately dont overcook any other item we have tried. So we are of the mindset not to tell the chef how to cook his food and we just enjoy the rest of their menu.

We've enjoyed LS many many times. We think it's one of the best chinese restaurants in Portland Metro.
