I can't even begin to explain how wonderful, in more ways than one, this restaurant is. The Currans give to the community not only by having such a treasure in our city but also in their charitable work, donating time, the restaurant, food... you name it. 1703 is a very special place for many reasons. The staff is always professional and friendly, the meals always come out better than expected (and it makes your mouth water just by reading it on the menu) and if you come as often as I do, you feel as though you're family. That may not be important to all people but it sure makes me feel good.
I always try something new everytime I go.... well you sort of can't help yourself, it all sounds so delicious and the menu changes every day. A favorite it the Filet Mignon, it always comes out cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Sometimes it's served with Mashed Potatoes, sometimes some of those yummy dauphinoise potatoes, always with grilled vegetables. They offer lots of seafood as well, on a recent trip I had the Sea Bass and Wow! what a treat.
What I am getting at is it's a wonderful place to go with family, out of town guests, in town friends, a romantic date, you name it.! If you haven't been you must go!!
