Okay so my friends and I went to Zachary's Family Restaurant at Cape Canaveral, FL during Spring Break. The waitress that "waited" on us took 10 minutes to take our drink order and food orders in a restaurant that wasn't even full. She messed up our drink orders after taking another five minutes to bring us our drinks. Our food of vegan omelets, home fries, gyros, and fries took 30 minutes to arrive to us, 10 of which the food was sitting on the counter in plain sight waiting to be picked up. Other people came after us and were taken care long before we got our food. My friends, who ordered the gyros and fries, had no problem with their meal. However my food of vegan omelet and home fries was absolutely disgusting. The omelet had no taste and the home fries were over salted. The waitress never came by to check with us until AFTER my friends had finished their food. If she had checked with us I would have told her about my food and requested a change then and there. Instead I tried to make the best of it because I hadn't since morning and I tend to get dizzy spells because I'm anemic. However I didn't want to pay for the terrible food and brought this to the waitress's attention (who was also our cashier) she refused to help me and told me there was nothing she could do because I had already paid. Rather than make a scene I paid my money and walked out with my friends. BUT it didn't end there! After my friends and I walked out the restaurant, this same waitress/cashier FOLLOWED us out into the parking lot and yelled at us to never come back there because WE DID NOT LEAVE A TIP AND SHE WAS MAD BECAUSE SHE IS A "WORKS FOR A LIVING." We have NEVER been banned from a restaurant before and our complete behavior was respectful and polite. I would never recommend this restaurant to a friend. EVER. And, no, the waitress/ cashier never gave us her name. But beware a blond woman with a long ponytail and a short neck.
