The food, service, and margaritas are superb! Xicohtencatl is located in a lovely Victorian house, decorated with an authentically Mexican color palate. Seating is available on a lovely verenda, which is the perfect place to sit on a nice day/evening and sip the best margaritas I've ever tasted, made with fresh lemons & limes. Best margarita: The "El Diablo" is served with chili infused tequila. The food is not your average Mexican fare, but is a delicious cuisine served with fresh ingredients and are more healthy, with less fat than the typical taco & burrito spot. Their guacamole is to die for as is their sopa de tortilla (chicken tortilla soup). Their entrees provide a balanced selection of beef, port, chicken, fish and an excellent vegetarian selection. Entrees are topped with and delicious sauces and are well worth the trip to this wonderful family-owned, one-of-a-kind restaurant. Since I am on a diet, I did not try their desserts, but the flan looked perfect.
