I was born and raised in Waterloo Iowa and for my Grandparents, a once a week trip to The Wishbone was the ritual... I can sorta say I was weened on The Tenderloin sandwich's there... I have had many, but none come up to what The Wishbone has.. For years I have been a Fan of the BBQ Tenderloin... When ever I pass through there now, I always stop and have one for my meal then, and order one to go (cut in half since they are so damn big) so that I can have a snack later on...

Double Meat baked subs are my favorite lunch item, The broasted chicken is perfect for the nite that you don't feel like cooking, Get the Bulk Package it comes with the sides and simply delicious. Another favorite is the Man Sized Hot Beef Sandwich, I usually have lunch here a couple times a week, and have tried just about every item on the menu. Sometimes I wish it wasn't so close to home

Actually went there last night. The food was good, but...it was luke warm. The potatos and gravy and the green beans especially. The Chicken I had to wait for, so it was hot. The cold items were good and their pie is ALWAYS good.
