I wanted a good BBQ sandwich and saw their claim for being the best BBQ. You can tell a good sandwich maker by the bread they use. Whether it is a chain like subway or a local deli the first step in ordering a sandwich is choosing the bread. Shoot mediocre meat can be rather tasty with good bread. I asked what kind of bread they had and the cashier answered, "Bunny". Bunny for those of you that do not know is like wonder bread. Bottom of the barrel as far as bread goes. I thought she was joking until I saw the package behind her. I did not order the sandwich. Ok, so they don't know anything about sandwiches their claim is BBQ. I ordered chicken with corn bread and potato salad. Their potato salad was on par with "Bunny" bread. It was really cheap and bad. The mass produced kind you find at the grocery store in huge tubs costing next to nothing. The corn bead was really bitter dry and just plain nasty. Ok once again it is about the BBQ. The flavor was weak and the chicken was dry. Just about any average weekend BBQ person could do better with just about any marinade. I would not waste a dime at this place. The person that wrote the positive review probably works there. My wife far more forgiving then me regarding quality of food when tasting the meal merely said, "eeeew". That is rare for her. I see why there are never cars in the parking lot. I ate at the one on Wilma Rudolf Blvd.

I should have left after I asked what kind of bread they use for their sandwiches. After all just about everyone but this restaurant knows the bread can take mediocre meat and turn it into a good sandwich. The bread they use "bunny bread". Are they serious? Yes! I ordered BBQ chicken because I knew the sandwich was going to suck. The flavor of the BBQ was not very good the chicken was dry. The potato salad was really bad. The most effort they could have possibly made with the potato salad was opening the the tub it came in. The only thing worse was this pancake shaped piece of corn bread. It was so bad that when you first bite into it your initial reaction is to spit it out. I wanted to make sure I was not being to harsh so I asked my wife to try the food and she was in total agreement. This was by far one of the worst meals we have had in Clarksville.

This has the best Turkey Bar B-Q anywhere!! I come from Alabama to get it! Their sauce is wonderful too! I miss this!

Best Barbeque Pork in Clarksville. It is so unassuming because it looks like a old grocery/gas station from way back in time. Try it...it is WORTH IT!
