floors very sticky... kitchen looks like a shack and very dirty. you can see the waitresses spoon in your food out of open containers sitting in a cooler as your waiting for your food. the owner/manager was truly disrespectful to his help. very bad experience. will never go back. I advise the public to pick another place to spend your money.

This is a prime candidate for Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. NOTHING was fresh. We both ate the open faced pot roast. Instant mashed potatoes, green beens were straight from a tin and tasted like liquid smoke had been added. They were ineatible, my boyfriend orders Mac and cheese and it was straight up kraft cooked in a pot. The gravy seemed to be the powders mix type ad well. The roll was good, but by no means homemade. More the brown and serve type. The roast itself had good flavor, but admittedly I don't know the first thing about beef and rarely eat it. My boyfriend said he thought it was like eating in a school cafeteria. Also, I orders turkey and the waitres said they were out, I then asked her what was good and she just gave me a blank stare, my boyfriend asked her again, what would she eat and she (after thinking about it) replied the roast beef or meatloaf. It's a shame really. There was on other diner, but is was dead. If this place would cook some real food, real potatoes, real bread, fresh veg, and bake some Mac and cheese with real cheese they would have some business...it's a great location....sad.

Aug. 2010 First time visiting this restaurant. The service was superfast, food was so much more than anticipated and amazingly affordable. I had Salisbury steak that tasted wonderful and melted in my mouth. My wife had a cup of chili. The server told her it was spicy. My wife agreed it was but said it was great anyway. We both will be back! ! !

Business at the time was slow, but service was okay.
When I got my food. Country Fried Steak the mashed potatoes were cold and I had to get up after waiting for awhile to find someone to talk to about it. No one came to clear table as needed nor did they ask if refills were needed. The corn looked like they had been sitting in a pot all day.
This was my first time there and it could have been the moment, but having three hungry children with me it wasn't what I hoped for.

Food (Country Fried Steak) was excellent. Mashed potatos were the real thing. Service was good. I will try it again

Best Food In Louisville. As to the person with the problem with the coupon, If you would have read the coupon you would have noticed that it said "NOT Valid on Ny. Strip Steak". So Basically your mad because you can't read and didn't recieve a free meal.

If you are looking for chic quizine..this is not your place but if you want value and a good quality meal, this is a good value and friendly service

service was slow..food was cold and steak looked like it had been cooked hours before. staff had on dirty aprons ..went there for a coupon and it was not accepted because of ordering the steak and waitress did not tell us before we ordered ..only after we had received food.

Yuck. Floors are so sticky I had a hard time walking. Not clean. Food was gross. I feel a little sick that I just ate there.
