Mokelumne Hill Restaurant Guide

This very relaxed restaurant has it all and we give it 5 stars in all the categories here because it is the truth. The food is straight forward fish n chips, hamburgers, deep fried mushrooms, zucchini, salads and more. It is all excellent. Their menu isn't huge, but everything on it is savory and memorable. The servers and bartender are some genuinely nice folks who make your experience at the Waystation feel like visiting old family members....the ones you like to visit anyway. The dining room is simple, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The bar is a unique eclectic mix of old and new that we'll leave as a surprise. The prices are super reasonable and the portions are huge. They have a kids menu with special pricing for healthy selections that kids will love. The Waystation also stocks a large selection of kids coloring books and almost every child gets a helium-filled balloon courtesy of the super friendly bartender. The place is very easy to recommend and you'd be foolish to go elsewhere in Moke Hill before trying the Waystation first.

Prices going up and portions getting smaller. Service is mediocre - waitresses forget you're there and the bussers are nowhere to be seen.
