Waldo Bistro Was Founded in 1986 from the Juchniewicz Family. They Have used there travel experiences to enhance the food they serve. From 5 lb. Lobster tail which are on yearly reservation only, there Floribbean Cusine they served, Or the most Creative Chef Specials I have ever seen in Charlotte County Florida. They Seem to be the only restaurant with the most working experience and knowledge in there field in the county and the only one That the Owner/Manager Allows the Chef Create What ever they Like! THis Give the end result money in the owners pocket since they been open for 20 years. I Have heard that Cheryl a Chef, has the recipes of the restaurant and has traveled the Virgin Islands, Mexico, and accross the U.S. besides her own roots of cooking experiences. She is A Diamond if found and hired. The owner/manager should let her create, better than most in the region.
All Restaurants in Punta Gorda should follow suit, too bad they can't. Since all they worry about is getting drunk,alcohol sales, or Clicky groupies to support there restaurant. No sence of values or appreciation of food, Shame.
